St. Philip’s Christmas Project
Operation Christmas Child – Please take part in filling a shoebox or two for a boy and girl from around the world. After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel. You can get involved by getting a shoebox and label in the lobby. Then go out and fill the box for a child.
If you have any questions, please email Casey Freed at cfreed@stphilipsonline.org.
All boxes MUST be returned to the church by November 15, 2021.
2nd giving 0ption: Choices Pregnancy Care Center opens its arms to women and their families facing crisis pregnancies, providing free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI testing, early pregnancy health screenings and education. We are asking that you help pregnant and new moms feel a little extra love this Christmas. We want to honor those moms that said “Yes” to life by giving them a gift to open Christmas morning. Please take a tag from the Angel Tree in the lobby if you would like to show love and support to one of these moms.
If you have any questions, please contact Paula Ledbetter at ledbetterpaula01@gmail.com.
All gifts MUST be returned to the church by December 5, 2021
Final giving option: Adopt a Person as we have coordinated with agencies to receive several names and their wish list for Christmas. Many people on the list will receive gifts only from those who took their name from St. Philip’s Christmas Project. The items on their wish lists are humbling, showing their great need. To ensure we keep track of the person’s name and who is purchasing gifts for that person, please contact Sara Foley at 412-600-7475 or email saraannfoley@hotmail.com, if you would like a name.
All gifts MUST be returned to the church or to Sara Foley by December 5, 2021
The event is finished.
